นอกจากนี้ในการจัดอันดับของ Times Good University Guide มหาวิทยาลัยควีนส์ ยังได้รับการจัดอันดับให้อยู่ใน Top 20 ถึง 19 สาขาวิชา ด้วยกัน สาขาที่มีชื่อเสียงคือ Pharmacy (อันดับ 2 ในสหราชอาณาจักร) และ Engineering (อันดับ 10 ต้นๆ) สาขาอื่น ๆ ที่ติด Top 20 ได้แก่ medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, accountancy เป็นต้น

ในปี 2001 มหาวิทยาลัยได้ทุ่มงบประมาณกว่า 250 ล้านปอนด์ในการปรับปรุงวิทยาเขตและเครื่องมือการเรียน
