Q : ทำไมถึงเลือกไปปารีส ประเทศฝรั่งเศส?

Mon : There're many reasons that I chose to go to Paris and study French.

First, I'm a person who appreciate ART and CULTURE which France and especially the city of Paris have a lot to offer me to fulfill my passion about art and help answering all of my curiosity about french culture.

Related to the first reason, here is the second one. By wanted to really understand about french culture, I must learn and study their language too, because language is also a part of the whole culture as well. And I'm lucky that I had a chance to learn the English language and of course the English or British culture and society before already. Earlier, in my life I've a chance to go and live in England which mostly in London almost every year. Moreover, I'm a student who took the British studies as my major while I was in the college. As I think I know pretty well about the British cultures and their societies already, I'm yearning to know more about other culture too. And French culture is the one that i picked to study more about.

The last reason, is as we all know that today's world is all about globalization. So, as I want to pursue my future to be successful, I need to have a lot of potentials and of course in many different ways. Then, it came to the idea that I want to be able to communicate and use more then 1 or 2 languages and by that it will help straighten my potentials to pursing for the career that I want to do in the future. So, now as I'm already well-use both Thai and English, I chose to study French as my third languages.

Q : ชอบและไม่ชอบอะไรที่โรงเรียน Sprachcaffe International?

Mon : The thing I love about the school is it located in a nice area of Paris, a metro station is only
1 minute away and there're many coffee shop and many other shops for the student to spend time or find something to eat during the break. For example, Starbucks is just across the street and McDonald's is also just around the corner. Furthermore, there're also many restaurants around the school area. Such as Italian restaurant, Greek, French, Indian, Chinese and even Thai restaurant.And as I already have rented the apartment in Paris, the school was so near to my place and it's only take 3 metro stops from my house to the school.

The second thing that I like about Sprachcaffe Paris is the teachers. The teachers there was so nice to all students, like when some of the student finished the course they'll throw a little party maybe a dinner for those students and also have a little present for them to remind about Paris when they go back to their country. And especially, my teacher, Mr. Arthur Derviso. I was sent to study in his class and I'm so grateful because of that. He make all the teaching stuffs not boring for the students and also let the student participate a lot in class. And the most important thing is he never blame or upset when the student answer the question wrong or when he has to explain the same thing over and over again for the student who don't understand. And that's why most of the student at the school like to study with him. Mr. Arthur Derviso made me love to study french and that's the reason why I'm so progress. I had started from 0 percent but within a while only I can understand and communicate french in my daily life while I was there in Paris because we've practice many of the conversations in class already.

Another thing that I love about this school is the school itself, all together with the teachers and the staffs make the school so cozy and easeful for me and I believe for other students too. It like we are family. There isn't too much students, I even can remember all of the students faces and almost remember all of their names.

The only thing that I maybe don't really like about the school is I think it's too small. Like sometime when more students come, There's only one toilet for each men and women and there's no library because I believe they didn't have enough space, so when there're a lot of students, it can be crowed sometime. 

Q : ชอบและไม่ชอบอะไรกับเมืองที่อยู่? Mon : To be honest I love almost everything about Paris, it's like i've found the place that I'm always dream of. Because the city is full of the things I'm so passionate about, full of Arts and Cultures. So, I love the city. All the building is so beautiful, there're a lot of museum for me to visit and see many different kind of arts, There're many breathtaking lovely park throughout the city and that is hard to deny that Paris is really is the city that you can easily fall in love with like I do now. Actually I have to admit that at the first time I never think that I'm going to fall in love with the city or even going to like it because like what I already mentioned before I've live in the British society for so long in my life and I used to call myself as a Londoner. I'm considered myself that I'm so British and seem like everyone can tell since I open my mouth, it's might because I have british accent when i speak in English. Even some of my friends said or joke that I have this British accent when I speak Thai too. And as the British society and French society is so different and maybe some of you who used to study or know about history might know that the British and the French have a past since long long time ago and it wasn't a good one. So those idea made me think that I will never like Paris like I do like London. However, like people always said that nothing is certain in this life. Since the first day that I arrived in Paris, my idea about all the French things started to change. Again I have to say that at that time I was surprised, it felt like I was in Thailand. Started with the people at the airport offered to give me a help to carry my bags and make sure that I'm fine until my father's friend come and pick me up. And all of my neighbors are so nice and generous like Thai people do. They used to help me many times when i have problems like when I forgot my key in my room and when I carried a lot of stuffs when I'm back from the shopping or from the school, they're always helping me. And everyone in my building always say " bonjour" or "bonsoir" when we bump into each others on our way in or out every single times. Don't even have to mention about my friends there and my teachers because all of those people have got my heart already. So, I have to say the other thing I like about Paris is the Parisian or the people there. About the thing that I don't like in Paris is there're a lot of homeless people sleeping everywhere, on the street, under the metro station, and of course in some parks, and in my opinion I think it can destroy the beauty of the city sometime. However, I think that's the only thing that bother me in Paris.

Q : สิ่งที่ประทับใจในการไปเรียนครั้งนี้?

Mon : This question is the hardest one of all, because I'm impress with the whole experience while I was studied in Paris at Sprachcaffe. This trip of study had already changed my life and my perspectives. But the most impressive thing that this trip gave me is all of my friends and many good people that I met during this stay in Paris. Me and my friends, we're still keep in touch and write to each others almost every week and update about the things that going on in each person life at that time if we can. One of my friend who is french has already visit me in Bangkok already for 2 weeks and another two friends of mine will come visit me here in Thailand too in this up coming june.

Moreover, me and my closest friends have planed to travel to many city in Europe like Barcelona, Moscow, Geneva, Vienna and a lot more during our summer time before the school start again. And because all of those cities that I mentioned is the city that i have friends who live there and of course those friends are the people that I have a chance to know them because of this trip. So, this beautiful experience that i had will be in my mind forever and that I shall never forget it.

Q : อุปสรรคที่ยากที่สุดในการไปเรียนครั้งนี้ และผ่านอุปสรรค์นี้ไปได้อย่างไร?

Mon : The only obstacle that I have faced during this trip of study is the language. In France and even in Paris, all the people tend to speak only in their language, which is French. So, it was hard at the first place to communicate with the people there. It's not easy at all to find a person who can speak or understand well English in France, so sometime when you meet French people who can understand English even a little it feel so relief especially at the beginning when you can not speak French yet.

But I got through this obstacle because the help from my teacher who encourage me and other student to try to speak French as much as you can, and don't have to worry if it right or not because the teacher said it's the good way to practice if you want to be able to speak french. So, I followed his suggestion, I tried to speak as much as I could and try to put out every words that I knows or can remember at that time and speak to my French friends even I know that it might be wrong but my friends will help correct me and teach me the right one anyway. So, at the end of one point I don't have any obstacle anymore because the help from my teachers and my good friends.  

Q : ข้อคิดที่อยากฝากให้พี่ๆ เพื่อนๆ น้องๆ ที่คิดจะไปเรียนต่างประเทศ?

Mon : My advice for those people who want to go study aboard is pretty basic. You just have to prepare yourself to be able to adapt in whatever society that you're about to living in. And study about their culture and society as much as you can, you don't have to know everything or every details though, only just the one that you think it's important for you to know and learn about. That will be enough for the start. These things might seem not important to someone but it actually do important because you will never want to have the situation which calls "culture shock" for sure.

So, it's always better to know something than to not know anything. Believe me!! you never know that those basic things about that culture that you've learn might benefit you when you're already in the other part of the world one way or another.

Q : ทำงานพิเศษรึเปล่า ถ้าทำทำอะไรอยู่ และหางานยากมั้ย?

Mon : Now, I'm not working but I'm continue my study to the master level in which area that I love
and that is Fashion. I'll take a master course in Fashion Promotion at Istituto Marangoni Paris in this up coming september.So, I'll return to Paris soon which the plan is around the beginning of this July.

First, I had applied to the same course at the same college but in London. However, like I said this trip of study at Sprachcaffe Paris really did change my life. As I told before that I've fall in love with the city of Paris already. I decided to change the branch from London to Paris for my study of master instead. Luckily, my college have three branches in the world which is in London, Milan, and Paris. So I could not resist to change and move to study in Paris since I'm in love with the people there and the city of Paris itself.

Lastly, I do need to thank you to Enriched Education & Training Co. and the helpful education Counselor, Khun Chatchaya Thosalee. This amazing wonderful trip to Paris of mine will never come true and well-ended like this without your help and consults. Thank you very much ka.
